FUEGO fire box is made in Sweden of Corten steel.
Corten, also known as weathering steel has high tensile strenght and is corrosion resistant. It starts out grey and will over time, due to weather and wind, change color into a rust like red-brown surface.
The surface only appears rusty, in fact it gets this look due to an oxidation process that protects the steel and will make it resistant to weather and water.
There is no need to treat the corten surface with paint or laquer and the steel will keep its strenght.
Included to each FUEGO is one stainless steel BBQ grid and one stainless steel fire wood grid.
